There are two types of outdoor enthusiasts. Those that know about Disc Golf and those that have yet to find out. Lake County, Florida recognized the sport paired well with the abundance of picturesque parks throughout the county and the rise in popularity of the sport, so they invited disc golf course designer Gregg Hosfeld, of World Championship Disc Golf Design to create a network of six courses to help promote the sport. They wanted a trail network to cater to recreational players and competitive groups alike. The branding needed to complement both audiences in order to attract competitive tournament organizers to host their events in Lake County, while remaining relevant to recreational players throughout the year.
